Elementary drama kid and class

Theater Workshop

Lights, Cameras, Action!

Mr. Max, one of our awesome Reading & Writing teachers, will be leading a new virtual workshop for elementary students! Our ever-popular Theater Class will next take to the stage Einstein’s Brains written by Phillip Dawkins. This is a great play for kids and is an excellent fit for rising 2nd graders to rising 5th graders, though we are accepting rising 6th graders as well.

Class will run for 8 weeks, beginning June 14th. Online every Monday from 5-6pm EST.

Not only an in-demand tutor, Mr. Max is also a very talented working actor in DC. This will be the 6th time he’s offered his theater class to the public.
About Einstein’s Brains
This script is a comedy written by Philip Dawkins.
“IT’S ALIVE! Albert Einstein’s brain, that is. Sci-Fi geek and pizza delivery person Otto must make the most important delivery of all time when the mad scientist Dr. Thomas gives Otto and his talking dog, Swamp Thing, the task of safely delivering Einstein’s brain to a college in Berkeley where it will be properly studied. Sounds easy, right? Save for a few hilarious distractions (such as a horde of zombies and an evil, even madder scientist), it should be a piece of cake! Can Otto and his dog make it to  their destination in relatively one piece? Pun intended.”
